My Approach

I believe that we are all influenced by many factors in our lives, both past and present, and that sometimes we need help to understand how these can get in the way of being able to live life fully and with ease. Therapy can provide a dedicated safe and containing space in which to explore thoughts, feelings, beliefs and unhelpful patterns of behaviour. The experience of feeling truly seen, heard and understood can be very powerful and transformative.
Considering the origin and development of these patterns can be helpful in terms of deciding whether we want to change some of our ways of being so that we can live a happier, more fulfilled life.
Equally, sometimes focusing on the here and now may be what is needed in order to know what we want or need, or to make big decisions in our lives.

I work with Individuals and Couples who may be experiencing difficulties related to any of the following:

Anxiety or Low mood, Bereavement, Abuse, Loss, Trauma, Depression, Self-esteem, Relationship difficulties, Loss of confidence, issues of sexuality, or simply want to live life more fully.

I work relationally using an integrative approach to explore what comes up between us in the therapeutic relationship whilst respecting the client's individuality and capacity to decide their own destiny.
I am based in South Ealing and can see clients on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I offer an initial consultation for £35 and should we agree to work together I charge £65 per 50 minute session for individuals and £90 per one hour or £120 per one and a half hour for couples. About Me

My name is Judith Williamson. I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor based in South Ealing, West London. I am a Registered Member of BACP and UKCP. My background was in Education from1985 until 2016 and I believe this experience has influenced me positively in my second career as a counsellor and psychotherapist. I studied Transactional Analysis at Metanoia Institute and am also a member of IARTA.
