UKCP has moved to York House, 221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ. We are updating the address listed in all our documents, please bear with us as we make these changes.
My integrative approach means I am informed by a number of theories that I bring to our collaborative relationship. My practice is relational and I will actively engage with you and be curious to how our relating informs our work together. Feeling overwhelmed, lost, isolated and distressed? I aim to provide a safe, calm, confidential space to explore what is going on for you and together find a way to make sense of it all, to see the way through the difficulties.
As a qualified Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I volunteer at Mind and The One To One Project. I have a background in education - specialising in social, emotional and behavioural difficulties - and with a twelve step programme working with family survivors of alcoholics; both of which have led to a passion for human relational interactions. I accessed training at Matrix College of Counselling and Psychotherapy to develop my skills and integrate my extensive twelve step programme knowledge.
Amongst other things, I support adults with anxiety, grief, lack of self confidence, loss, meaning in life and suicidal risk in a world that can be scary and challenging. I also work with survivors of relational, developmental and environmental trauma, exploring how these experiences are informing life today.
I am committed to my own personal and professional development; keeping informed of current research and undertaking clinical supervision of my work.
