Couple Therapy and Family Therapy:
I offer couple and family therapy to support people in close relationships to express and explore difficult thoughts and emotions safely, to better understand each other’s perspectives and needs, build on strengths and work together to make useful changes. Part of this is making sense of the patterns and habits that develop in relationships and reflecting on their helpfulness. The emotionally-focused and attachment informed approaches I draw on can help people in close relationships who are struggling with conflict, distress, and poor communication.
Individual Therapy:
A systemic perspective can help you make sense of the situation which is bringing you to therapy in the context of your individual circumstances. This means thinking about how your significant relationships as well as your beliefs and values inform how you process emotions and make sense of yourself and the world. Individual therapy can also be a space to reflect on patterns and habits that have developed in your relationships and how these relational patterns impact on you.
I am an experienced systemic psychotherapist, with a strong track record working within the NHS with both adults and children.
In my private practice, I work with couples, families, and individuals. I am currently offering remote therapy sessions only, via Zoom.
I am happy to discuss your specific needs and expectations of therapy via e-mail exchange, in advance of booking a first session.
