I take a holistic and integrative psychotherapeutic approach to therapy, working with young people and families in ways that are unique to each individual. This means I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities, depending on what is most supportive.
My integrative approach is grounded in relational psychotherapy, neurobiology of attachment, psychosomatic, psychodynamic, humanistic, and transpersonal therapy.
I support young people to access their inner worlds—often starting with body sensations, images, or movement—and, through creative exploration and expression, help them make meaning of those experiences.
As a psychosomatic practitioner, I focus on the neurobiology of the unconscious body-mind system. Young people may work with expressive arts, movement, stillness, and creative practices to support their process in therapy. I help children and teens tune into the part of them that holds their full self-awareness and support them to respond to what their body already knows—often below the level of conscious thought. This kind of embodied listening can be a powerful tool in processing trauma, building confidence, and discovering who they truly are.
I support the development of positive, healthy relationships within families, which in turn nurtures healthy neurobiology in children and teens. As it becomes appropriate and supportive, I work alongside a young person’s family and wider support network to help reinforce positive relational dynamics in all areas of their life.
My psychotherapeutic focuses include:
Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (combined work with children and parents/carers)
Psychosomatic awareness and unconscious body communication
Expressive arts for authentic self-expression
Sleep and dreams for trauma integration and self-development
Stillness and movement for body-mind awareness
Neurodevelopment and sensory processing
Neurobiology of attachment
Support for neurodivergent young people
Cultural identity and belonging
Trauma-sensitive, trauma-informed, and trauma-responsive therapy
In 2023, I began specialising in sleep and dreams as a pathway to overcome trauma, activate wellbeing, and realise potentials. I lead trainings in this work and continue to support research on transforming nightmares and PTSD through lucid and conscious dreaming—hence the name of choice for my business.
I believe that every young person has an innate, authentic nature that can flourish when given the right environment. My therapy aims to build a bridge between where a child or teen finds themselves now and where their truest self and potential reside.
If you think I might be of support to you or your family at this time, please contact me via email and we can begin to explore supportive therapy options for you together.
I am a child and adolescent psychotherapist. I specialise in working one-to-one with children and teenagers, and I offer psychotherapeutic sessions for parents and families where counselling together is beneficial.
I recognise that children and teenagers thrive when they feel seen, heard, and supported to express themselves with effortless authenticity. That’s why every therapeutic journey I offer is bespoke—tailored to the individual and grounded in a person-centred approach that honours who they are and who they’re becoming.
My professional journey has taken many shapes. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in performing arts, somatic movement, and child development. These earlier experiences continue to inform my therapy with young people today.
Alongside my therapy practice, I consult with charities and organisations to enable socially underrepresented young people to be seen and heard, and to support positive personal and social development
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
