Integrative approach
I aim to accompany you, as we examine the difficulties, challenges and dilemmas that you may face in life. Together we can forge new strategies in dealing with these and perhaps develop a richer understanding of yourself and reveal a deeper sense of meaning in your life.
At the core of my practice is the non-judgemental, secure relationship between counsellor and client. I believe counselling works because it gives us a chance to talk, to somebody that doesn't know us, and that we are able to learn more about ourselves. My approach is trauma informed.
I know how hard it can be, firstly to seek counselling, and then to find the right counsellor. It can feel overwhelming. I hope this entry tells you what you need to know about me. Please contact me if you would like to know more.

My approach includes the integration of theories, (Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
