My Approach

Building a trusting relationship with a child or young person is the starting point to my work. From this point all areas of difficulty, from early trauma to social emotional and mental health difficulties can be uncovered and explored through stories, creative work, games and much more. Educational therapy works on removing barriers to learning in the context of school or an alternative safe setting and offers a powerful and long lasting support which can eventually result in an improved confidence when approaching learning and other demands of school or college life.

About Me

I have many years of experience as a teacher, SENCO and assistant head in London schools.
I am now qualified as a child and adolescent educational psychotherapist. I believe that through supporting a child or young person’s emotional well being we can also support their ability to learn.
