Hello, I'm Jamie, a UKCP registered integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist. I'm passionate about promoting and safeguarding children's emotional wellbeing and supporting families. As a qualified child and adolescent psychotherapist, I provide specialised therapeutic support for children, young people, parents, and carers.
My journey into psychotherapy began in 2017 after leaving the music industry. Initially, I volunteered with two children’s charities, Care Free Kids and Every Parent and Child, before undertaking an MA in integrative child and adolescent psychotherapy at Terapia. Since then, I've gained experience working in both state and independent schools, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies like CAMHS and Social Services.
As an integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist, I draw from various modalities to tailor my approach to each child, ensuring it resonates with their unique journey. I prioritise creating a safe, non-judgmental space for exploration and work systemically with families and sometimes schools for consistency of care. My child-centred approach allows me to follow the child's lead, adapting to their needs and pace. Through play, metaphor, and creative techniques, I help young people express themselves and navigate their challenges, fostering self-awareness and growth. Ultimately, my goal is to empower children and adolescents to discover their voice, identity, and inner strength.

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
