My Approach

Hello, I am a therapist who believes in creating a secure and inclusive space where clients can freely express their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. My approach is centred on active listening and understanding each individual's unique requirements and preferences. I believe that with the right assistance, we can obtain the necessary tools to move ahead and regain control of our lives.

My goal as a therapist is to establish an atmosphere where clients feel at ease exploring their thoughts and emotions. I view each person as an expert in their own life and experiences, and my role is to provide support and guidance as clients navigate their path towards recovery and personal growth. Together, we can identify patterns, reveal underlying issues, and create coping mechanisms that are tailored to individual needs.

I am dedicated to focusing on the present moment and building resilience to create a more satisfying future. With my expertise and your willingness to take steps towards a brighter future, we can work together to help you achieve your goals. If you are looking for a therapist who can offer a non-judgmental, empathetic, and personalised approach to therapy, then I am here to help.

About Me

I am a qualified Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and a member of the BACP & UKCP. The type of therapy I offer is a place where you can express yourself without judgement. I was a company director for 12 years before training on a 5-year Psychotherapy Master's Degree. I decided to train as a therapist as I have seen how getting the right support beyond just family or friends, can change people’s lives.

As well as my private practice I have worked as part of the NHS as a bereavement counsellor and across several renowned counselling services in London. My experience also includes working with a wide range of clients, including young adults and the elderly. I am now based in Dorset, and you can work with me face-to-face at my practices in both Poole and Poundbury.
