My Approach

My way of working is relational and integrative, meaning I draw on different therapeutic approaches to shape our sessions around what feels most helpful for you. I offer a safe supportive space where you can talk openly about what’s going on in your life. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or at a point of change or loss. Together we can take time to understand together what you’re experiencing and support you in finding ways of moving forward.

About Me

I have over eighteen years of clinical experience working with people experiencing anxiety, stress and pressure, relationship difficulties, life changes, loss, or grief. I also bring considerable experience of working with people living with complex health issues and fertility challenges, as well as those impacted by trauma or periods of disconnection.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I provide a space to recognise that experiencing anxiety and struggle is part of the human journey. Your uncertainties are natural aspects of life that can be met with curiosity, and compassion. Exploring them together can lead to insight, connection, and a greater sense of ease with yourself. Alongside this I draw on aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy in helping to understand and better manage the symptoms of anxiety and stress that trouble you.
I understand grief as a natural and deeply personal response. In therapy, we make room for your experience of loss to be expressed and understood in your own way and at your own pace, recognising that loss can affect not only how you feel, but how you experience yourself, your relationships, and your sense of meaning. Over time, opening space for this can allow loss to be integrated into life, allowing your experience of living to deepen and expand.
