I specialise in working with issues surrounding gender, sexuality and identity, and the specific needs of the LGBTQIA+/ GSRD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diverse) community. I welcome working with people with diverse gender and sexual identities, people who engage in chemsex or consensual polyamorous relationships, sex-workers and people living with HIV. I also welcome working with trans/transgender clients, pre/post or questioning transition, people who engage in cross-dressing, people who identify as Neurodivergent, Crip or Queer, and people who engage in Kink, BDSM, asexuality or celibacy.
I am quite open and easy to talk to, and I think I do well with people who are nervous about coming to therapy, who find it hard to open up or who have unusual issues that cause them shame. I prefer to work in a flexible, client-centred and integrative manner, drawing from different approaches, depending on your needs and preferences. I aim to create a space where you can feel safe, understood and listened to. Therapy begins by learning who and how you are, so that collaboratively we can shape ways in which you can grow, heal and change.

I am an UKCP accredited psychotherapist with a first degree in psychology and a doctorate in existential psychotherapy. My academic research on crossdressing delves into issues such as sexuality, gender, identity and their connection with existential themes such as being, inauthenticity, lack of freedom and meaning. This is also mirrored within my private practice, where I usually work with people at the intersection between social class, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, race/ethnicity, faith and disability and the social, personal, and political context my clients find themselves in.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
