Looking for a therapist can sometimes be a daunting experience. You might be thinking about therapy for the first time or looking to switch therapists or resume therapy after a break.
If you would like to ask any questions, or book an introductory appointment please reach out to me via email, text or telephone call. It is important to me that your therapeutic journey feels safe, non-judgemental and helpful so please reach out with any queries.
I am currently based in South-East London and can meet face-to-face or online, or a combination if preferred.
Some people may want to attend therapy to address a particular issue or obstacle in their lives, others may wish to improve their relationships. My branch of psychotherapy is Systemic Psychotherapy which places a focus on how we are shaped by our relationships, values and beliefs and life experiences and doesn’t place blame within an individual.
In our first session I would want to introduce myself and think together about your goals. When, where and how we meet can be decided together.
You may want to meet weekly, fortnightly or monthly. You may want to meet on a short-term or long-term basis and I am flexible around your needs. I will share with you my ideas on what might work best but there is no pressure and we can fit the work around you.
My availability is predominately in the evenings and weekends.
Systemic Therapy has an evidence base to support in a range of issues such as family conflict, parental separation, anxiety and depression, identity issues and more.
I can work with you as an individual or with couples, family groups, friendship groups or other groupings.
I am a Systemic family and couple psychotherapist, registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT). I am also a registered social worker with Social Work England.
I've practised therapy in different settings, including NHS adult mental health settings and statutory children and young people’s services. My ethos is on respectful and collaborative practice and ensuring that all sessions feel safe and client-led.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
