As well as supporting the client to build compliance and trust, my approach allows us to speak openly about uncomfortable issues and to explore them in a safe and confidential relationship. As your therapist, I seek to establish a warm and non-judgmental environment that fosters a sense of safety. We will work together to achieve your own goals by setting up smart outcomes together.
I work with people struggling with life, relationships, stress and managing feeling rooted in the past. My clients typically experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, impulse control issues, addictions and trauma from the past. Some people simply feel there have got something wrong and want space to explore this in a safe and supportive way.
My way of working is integrative, drawing on different therapeutic models to suit the particular needs of each client. I am open and every time happy to discuss the way we work together. I have a particular interest in Attachment Theory and Relational Transactional Analysis.
Psychotherapy does not offer quick-fix or sudden cure for issues: there will be obstacles along the path and difficult moments which we will overcome together. Psychotherapy is a very powerful instrument of self-growth once the actual living conditions and repetitive patterns are explored safely. Given these conditions, the healing process will come spontaneously. Some clients choose to meet for a few weekly sessions, whilst others, who are willing to make significant changes in their lives, come for longer periods or years.
I am an Integrative-Relational Psychotherapist, a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA), a Chartered Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol and AFBPsS), and a Clinical Supervisor. I am a member of HCPC, BPS, UKCP, EATA, and EuroPsy. I work in English and Italian.
I provide psychotherapy for individuals, teenagers, and adults of any age, couples, regardless of sexual orientation, and specifically for people who identify themselves as belonging to the LGBTQ+ community.
As an integrative professional, I respond to my clients’ needs by going beyond a one-size-fits-all approach. I work with teenagers as well as adults in short and long-term therapy. Every human being, regardless of age, sexual orientation, cultural background or ethnicity deserve to live. I embrace a relational orientation with a particular interest in the psychoanalytic and psychodynamic field, along with the attachment theory.
Therapy cannot be effective without trust and alliance, I often encourage my clients to speak about this between us.
I have a flexible approach that allows me to work with Adults and Teenagers in individual, couple and group therapy. I strongly believe that real change can only be achieved through a trusting, open and supportive relationship.
I have mainly worked with people on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Learning Disabilities in many different roles and levels, from Support Worker to Psychologist to Manager. I have successfully worked 1:1 with self-harming clients on the Autistic Spectrum providing the opportunity to learn different strategies to express needs and pain.

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
