My Approach

Having trained as a teacher and worked a residential youth worker prior to qualifying as a family therapist I bring multi-dimensional perspectives to thinking about families. I have keen eyes and expertise to better understand patterns that may be at play in your family /relationships and highlight the resources you already likely to have but may not realise due to the stress of your given situation.
I work alongside you, aware that you have expertise in your experiences that can help me better appreciate your situation and utilise my knowledge to bring positive change in your journey.
I have number of years of experience working in the NHS in both inpatient and outpatient contexts where I have worked directly with young people and as a part of family therapy clinic as well as facilitated child based and parent based programmes.

About Me

I’m a qualified systemic family therapist with number of years of experience working in NHS CAMHS (Child Adolescent Mental Health Services), GP’s, schools and charity sectors working with children and families who have experienced a wide range of difficulties and interpersonal issues and circumstances across the family life cycle. I believe that families are an important part of a child’s progress and I value the role that families can make towards change.
