Special Interests
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
I am also a registered general nurse and I am curious about how our mental states, diet, and lifestyle affect our health and well-being.
Since the start of the pandemic I have focused on online counselling.
I have worked for a specialist service supporting clients to reduce and withdraw from prescribed medication such as analgesics, hypnotics, benzodiazepines and antidepressants for the past 15 years.
I enjoy exploring spiritually with clients as a support system for change.
We are living in very stressful times which can contribute to anxiety, depression and a plethora of various symptoms. I focus on enabling clients to find healthy solutions including change of perspectives and resetting balance.
