Through Existential Therapy i help the client explore meaning, choice and authenticity
In our work together, I aim to create a safe and open space for you to explore the existential questions that matter most—whether it's navigating personal transitions, dealing with anxiety or loss, or finding clarity in your purpose. I believe that confronting these questions with courage and honesty can unlock new possibilities, allowing you to lead a more authentic and fulfilling life.
By combining the rich insights of existential philosophy with practical therapeutic tools, I strive to help you connect more deeply with yourself, make empowered choices, and embrace the complexities of your journey.
As an existential therapist, I draw on both my professional training and personal experience to help individuals explore the deeper aspects of their lives. I trained at Regent’s University, where I developed a thorough understanding of existential philosophy and therapeutic techniques. My approach focuses on the key themes of freedom, responsibility, meaning, and the human experience of uncertainty.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a radiographer in the NHS, where I spent many years interacting with people in moments of vulnerability and distress. This background has deepened my appreciation for the complexities of health, illness, and mortality, providing me with a unique perspective on how existential themes show up in everyday life. It also informs my compassionate, grounded approach to therapy.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
