UKCP has moved to York House, 221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ. We are updating the address listed in all our documents, please bear with us as we make these changes.
I believe the relationship we create provides the foundation for healing and that by providing a warm, non-judgmental and confidential environment, you will feel safe to work through painful feelings and explore your concerns and your thoughts. I do not believe that one therapeutic approach can help everyone and I strive to find the right approach for each individual client. My practice is informed by a range of long-established therapeutic approaches and the work I offer tends to involve a combination of focusing on current issues, examining the past and processing emotions so that they become less cumbersome.
Finding a therapist can feel daunting and I believe one of the best ways to start is by having a first conversation on the phone or online. That’s why I offer a 20-minute free initial consultation where I endeavour to answer some of the questions you may have. This conversation will also allow us to get a first sense of whether we are a good ‘fit’ for each other.
I am an experienced psychotherapist working in private practice and in various settings as part of the NHS Mental Health Network where I see adults of all ages suffering from a range of emotional issues, from the difficulties of everyday life all the way to severe mental health distress. I offer a safe and supportive space to help you resolve the issues that cause you distress and suffering. In that process, I aim to help you understand, accept and trust yourself, and discover that change is possible.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
