I am an Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, working with children, adolescents, young adults and parents. I work within a person-centred approach and utilise creative interventions in order to support my clients to express and explore themselves.
Currently I accept clients online and in my office at Harley Street.
I am fascinated by how we can find our way back to equilibrium when our feelings and thoughts have been knocked out of axis. I dedicate my work to soothing and healing the psyche of young people and their carers.
My main aim in therapy is to create a safe environment where my clients feel accepted and understood. Open-mindedness, warmth and curiosity are vital tools I utilise to explore difficulties and strengths without fear of judgment.
My work is trauma-informed and I use creative interventions as well as techniques I've learnt from a diverse range of trainings, such as Somatic Experiencing and Video Interaction Guidance. I also find it important to consider the state of my clients' nervous systems and utilise psycho-education in an age-appropriate way.
I am excited to integrate my love for the great outdoors into my clinical work through Walk and Talk therapy sessions. To further my knowledge, I am undertaking an Eco Psychotherapy training focusing on nature's forgotten importance in the development of adolescents.
I am the member of the UKCP and adhere to their ethical guidelines. I attend regular Continued Professional Development (CPD) events to maintain my skills and knowledge.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
