In my experience, people seek counselling for a variety of reasons ranging from crisis to personal development. The counselling relationship is unique, separate from the rest of life and offers a confidential space to explore and understand your relationship with yourself and others. My practice is anchored by the belief that we are all fundamentally ok and we all have the capacity for change and growth.
I have a Masters in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy as well as a diploma in Transactional Analysis psychotherapeutic counselling. I am a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA), UKCP registered and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I have worked with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma and abuse, relationship issues, eating disorders and major life changes. I also have specialist experience of working within obesity and eating disorders services including a bariatric surgery service.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
