My Approach

My services encompass both short-term and open-ended therapy options based on your individual needs. Employing an integrative relational approach, I incorporate elements from Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Existential perspectives into my practice. I create a supportive, non-judgemental environment where we can collaboratively explore your challenges, whether they stem from past experiences or current circumstances.

About Me

After relocating from Ireland to the UK in 2010, I have been practicing as a therapist in South West London and Surrey for nearly a decade. With extensive experience working with both adults and adolescents, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my practice.

Currently, I'm in the final stages of my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy with the Metanoia Institute, having completed my research and awaiting my VIVA. Once passed, I will finalise my registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Counselling Psychologist. Alongside my academic journey, I work as an associate with a number of practices, both on Harley Street and online. In addition, I am proud to serve as a Director of The Mental Health Project, a company dedicated to providing professional and accessible mental health resources to secondary schools.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have experience working with individuals who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD. I understand the unique strengths and challenges that can come with neurodiversity. It is not uncommon for individuals with ADHD to struggle, for example, with emotional regulation, self-esteem, hypersensitivity to criticism or rejection. Women, in particular, often go undiagnosed, which can mean they are more likely to experience anxiety and depression. I work with my clients to explore their unique experience, supporting them to find ways of coping with any issues they may encounter.
