In life, we can experience periods of struggle, where we may feel lost or despondent. I invite you to get in touch, whatever may be causing you distress.
Therapy offers a safe, supportive and confidential space to explore your feelings, frustrations, fears and concerns.
It is a non-judgemental space for emotional, psychological and spiritual enquiry.
Exploring your feelings in this way can help you gain insight and clarity around the issues troubling you and the challenges you may be facing.
I will work alongside you, offering support and compassion, as we together explore ways for you to gain a greater sense of understanding and clarity, a stronger sense of self, to help you move forward and flourish in your life and relationships.
As soulful creatures, we come into the world full of potential. Yet as our life unfolds and evolves, experiences may mean we lose touch with some of our unique inner resources. Therapy is a way of tapping back into our real selves, re-discovering who we are beneath and beyond our negative scripts, our personas, the adapted ways we learned to survive.
'Neurosis is the suffering of a soul which has not yet discovered its meaning.' C G Jung.
I offer both short term counselling for a specific issue you may wish to address, and longer term therapy, providing emotional support to help you through what may be a difficult time in your life.
The fee I currently charge is £80 per session (Zoom), or £90 in-person. Concessions may be available depending on individual circumstance.
My work is integrative in approach, drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic, existential and transpersonal perspectives.
My London practice is based at CCPE, in Little Venice, near Paddington and The Minster Centre, Queens Park, NW6. However, I mostly offer remote sessions via Zoom at present.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial session.
I always offer an initial introductory session, a bit like an assessment, where I can learn more about your story and what brings you to therapy or counselling. And it gives you an opportunity to meet with me and see what it would be like for us to work together.
At the end of the session we can decide if we both feel we would like to continue with weekly sessions and make a plan. Usually we meet at the same time each week. I recommend we meet for an initial 6 weeks to see how things unfold. And then we can take things from there.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
