I recognise that as human beings we are all wired for connection, so I take a relational approach in the way I work. I will support you to grow your awareness of what’s going on in your own body, your emotions and your thinking and the interplay between these distinct but interlocking aspects of you. I also look at the contexts you exist in, and how these have shaped and continue to shape you in the here and now.
I offer my clients an opportunity to stop, really stop and to ask themselves questions - that might feel too big to ask yourself on your own or to burden your friends with - and then listen to the answer. I offer my clients a non-judgmental space to grow their awareness of themselves and how they show up in their world. I offer both time limited and opened ended therapy.
Therapy isn’t about me telling you what to do or advising you, however, I aim to support you through developing a good relationship in which you feel safe and secure, that allows you to explore, work through and understand the issues you bring to therapy. After an initial session to understand what your needs are and to see if we both feel that we can work together, we can plan further, weekly sessions.
