My approach is integrative, grounded in the Psychosynthesis model—a holistic method for healing, growth, and transformation.
Psychosynthesis views every difficulty or crisis as an opportunity for positive change and growth.
It addresses the whole person—body, mind, feelings, and spirit—and considers all human needs, from basic psychological needs like security, love, relationships, respect, and recognition to higher needs for meaning, values, self-actualisation, and self-realisation.
In my work, alongside dialogue, I use various simple yet effective psychosynthesis techniques, including guided imagery, visualisation, inner dialogue, dreamwork, and drawing.
These tools can help you expand your self-awareness and understanding of the world, allowing you to connect with your inner strengths and wisdom to make positive changes in your life.
Before training in counselling and psychotherapy, I earned a BSc in Quantum Physics.
With 30 years of experience in counselling and psychotherapy, I am dedicated to helping individuals lead fulfilling lives and build meaningful relationships.
I work with adults, young people, and couples, focusing on each person's unique needs.
Emotional challenges, including traumatic experiences, low self-esteem, or a search for deeper meaning, can be overwhelming. I offer a safe, confidential space to explore your experiences, gain clarity, and make lasting positive changes.
I specialise in stress, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, depression, grief, and relationship issues. With extensive experience, I provide effective strategies to support you through challenges, foster healing and encourage personal growth.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
