I work as an Integrative therapist, utilising a combination of approaches to meet the needs of each individual client in order to help them and this can include the use of Clinical Hypnosis.
I have always had a passion for helping people to develop and learn and now I am lucky enough to be able to work doing something I am passionate about.
Following the completion of my degree in Psychology and several years involved in leadership training, I qualified as a group exercise instructor and went on to teach a range of classes for the next 10 years while I continued to study.
Part of these studies included completing my PGCE (teacher training) where I honed my skills as a trainer and educator and have been able to use these skills teaching and training children and adults.
I decided after this that I wanted to continue with my studies in health and successfully completed my Masters in Health Psychology at University College London (UCL) & Kings College London where I developed my interest in working with people to help make changes for a healthy body and healthy mind.
I trained and qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and then developed my skills and knowledge further by continued with my training and qualified as an Integrative Psychotherapist.
I have been working with clients for over 20 years and although I have a specialist interest working with clients for health related issues, in particular with women experiencing menopausal symptoms, I work with a wide range of issues.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
