The focus of my work with clients is on how a person is doing self-relation and in turn relationship with other. I take a holistic approach to my work with clients toward a suitable client desired outcome. This means I work with sensory experience, in relation to body and mind communication as well as altered states of awareness. I strive to offer a therapeutic environment which embraces congruence, empathy and non-judgement thus encouraging a space where I hope clients can be themselves as much as possible.
I request that clients are willing to come to therapy with an open mind and the ability to take responsibility toward the process of their healing. As whole beings (mental, emotional, physical and spiritual) or how you perceive yourself to be as being, I believe that we have the resources to potentially resolve the issues in life we may sometimes struggle with. It would therefore be helpful for clients to commit to the ongoing processes and considerations inside and outside therapy.
Within the parameters of respect for the therapeutic environment, I meet clients with an open mind.
I am a Person Centred counsellor and Contemporary psychotherapist with many years of experience working with clients. I offer a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can come to explore their experiences of life's difficulties we as human beings encounter.
Relationships are an integral part of our well being so how we are doing relationship with ourselves (internal environment) and the world we live in (external environment) is significant to: who we are; how we are; when we are and what we want to be in any given time of our experience.
I work collaboratively and holistically with clients appropriately making use of body and mind connections to explore the presenting difficult issues that may affect the individual/s' daily living.
