I take an integrative approach to therapy. I may draw on several different psychotherapeutic modalities according to the needs of each client. I use elements of psychodynamic psychotherapy, transactional analysis, person-centred therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. I bring warmth, compassion and empathy to the therapy relationship and strive to empower people to grow. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgemental space within which clients can understand their life experiences better and feel empowered to make changes in the present to create the life they want for themselves. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity to overcome challenges and thrive. However, our ability to do this is often clouded by previous experiences and external expectations which can be explored in the safety of therapy.
I am a qualified psychoanalytic psychotherapist and I am passionate about supporting people to look after their mental health and well-being through talking therapy. I am experienced in working with young people (aged 11+) and adults.
You may know what you would like some support with or you may just having a feeling that something is out of balance in your life. Whatever you are finding challenging, I can offer a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings and help you untangle the knots that we often find in our minds.
I offer one-to-one therapy, usually on a weekly basis, which is confidential and non-judgemental. I offer therapy in person from my private room in Bearsted or online which means therapy can be accessible wherever you are and with more flexibility to fit around your other commitments.
