I am a Psychotherapist (MSc) and Certified Transactional Analyst, using Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic, CBT, Mindfulness and Relational approaches in my work. I work with adults, couples/groups and young people (16yrs+) in long term psychotherapy and short term counselling.
I have experience in various organisational settings; NHS, higher education, specialised sexual abuse and mental health charities, school settings (private, grammar and secondary), child and family services, telephone counselling, as well as private practice since 2009. I've worked with a diverse range of issues including: adolescence issues, anxiety, bereavement, body image, bullying, depression. family Issues, high sensitivity, neurodiversity, self harm, relationship issues, separation, stress, suicide prevention.
I offer a therapeutic space that feels safe and reassuring, allowing you to bring your whole self; even the parts that you may hide from others. People have described my therapeutic style as warm, attentive and personable. I strongly emphasise authenticity and connectiveness so that you feel heard, understood and seen. I'm respectful but challenging at times when clarity and a fresh perspective can help you change old, unhelpful habits. I encourage you to make positive changes in your life and to discover (or perhaps re-discover) the tenacity of your unique human spirit!

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
