I am a qualified Psychotherapist with an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, a TA Supervisor (PTSTA) and Tutor. My approach is integrative, drawing on both Psychoanalytic and Humanistic principals. I work with relational difficulties, work related stress, trauma, loss, and kink, but have a particular passion for working with people from minority groups who have experienced being marginalised by society. My practice is non-discriminatory, race and LGBTQ+ affirmative, with respect for the individuality, experience and value of each client.
Therapy can offer a dedicated space to talk, be heard, relate, and to make sense of the past and the present. People come to counselling for many different reasons, and with a wide variety of aims. I can offer you support if you are facing loss, bereavement, depression, anxiety or relationship difficulties.
Providing a safe, confidential and empathic space, I work to support you in exploring whatever it is that has brought you into therapy. I appreciate starting therapy can be a big decision, so please don’t hesitate to contact me by phone or email to discuss whether it might be right for you. I am a registered provider with: Aviva, AXA and WPA.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
