In relation with you, I work in an experiential and creative way that is influenced by Gestalt Therapy, Attachment Theory and Neuroscience. I value uniqueness in all my clients and what they may bring to therapy. Everyone needs different things to help alleviate pain and distress. I see my clients, not as “problems” but as human beings who can experience anxiety, stress, low mood and/or difficulties in relationship with themselves and others; who experience feeling trapped in the past, loss and grief and/or navigating challenging life transitions. You and I in connection can work together to raise awareness of what might be in the way for you, to support you to find hope and develop the choicefulness and flexibility you need to experience growth and change.
It takes courage to consider therapy and find the right person to support you. I welcome you to get in touch with me for a 20-minute free consultation so we can talk together and get a sense of each other and how I can help you. I can be contacted via phone, email or text message. I offer face to face and online therapy to adults and am fully compliant with COVID-19 guidance. I can offer short, medium and long term work depending on your needs.
If you would like to know more and would like to talk further, I look forward to hearing from you.
Sessions are 50 minutes and my fee is £60
Hi, I'm Cassie. I'm a fully qualified Integrative Adult Psychotherapist. A warm, down to earth and engaging person that cares very much about supporting people that are struggling with their lives.
Sometimes life can be hard. Perhaps you notice that you are stuck in unhelpful ways that makes daily living a real challenge. Are you’re struggling to balance work, family or relationship pressures and feel stressed all the time? Have you been through a change and feel you should be able to cope with it and you’re not? Perhaps you feel you are failing or not good enough in some way. Maybe you believe “you” are the “problem”. You maybe unsure as to what is going on for you, but you feel that something isn’t right. These feelings can be overwhelming, isolating and just too much to cope with. Whatever it is, it can be difficult to deal with on your own. I can provide a space for you and I together to explore the issues that you are facing and enable you to move forward in your life.
After nearly 10 years of experience working in the health and care industries, I made a career change into Psychotherapy and Counselling to be of value to others and work one to one with people to help them live with more ease and flexibility.
I have six years clinical experience seeing adult clients within local counselling services and supporting them through emotional distress, relationship issues, anxiety, loss and grief and trauma.
Alongside my private practice, I also have experience working as a Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy within Higher Education to develop the knowledge and skills of future therapists. I also offer training to organisations on a variety of counselling related topics
