My Approach

I use the accessible and inclusive framework of Transactional Analysis to help my clients better understand themselves and others. I also draw on neuroscience and mindfulness principles among other approaches and philosophies to be flexible and adaptive. No one is the same, so my aim is to attune to each client and their own unique needs.

I offer a warm and supportive service based in empathy and mutual respect. Whether you're looking for long-term therapy or shorter-term counselling, face-to-face or online, or even outdoors walking therapy I look forward to hearing from you to discuss how we can work together to meet your individual needs.

About Me

I believe passionately that everyone can benefit from empathetic, professional support. I am a registered counsellor and psychotherapist and I have worked in the field of mental health and well-being for many years, in private practice, charitable counselling services and in statutory homeless, addiction and resettlement services. I take great joy from working with people from all backgrounds, getting to know their stories and their strengths.

I work with

  • Couples
  • Individuals
  • Private healthcare referrals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have particular interests the link between mental well-being and social factors, trauma and childhood family dynamics. I explore with clients how these intersect, bringing a greater level of understanding to their experience and responses in the present. With understanding comes choice and freedom.
