I am a fully qualified and experienced Integrative Psychotherapist working both online and face-to-face in the Southwest Birmingham area. Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have a wealth of experience in working with different types of anxiety - generalized, social anxiety, health anxiety, and panic attacks. I can effectively combine my knowledge of CBT with my integrative approach to assist clients in their management of anxiety symptoms. I also focus on what things in life are causing the client anxiety and how to address these.
I have a wealth of experience in working with the victims and perpetrators of bullying and understand the devastating impact bullying can have on an individual's life, having completed an MSc dissertation o the prevalence and impact of workplace bullying in a sector of the criminal justice system.
I have a wealth of experience in working with clients suffering from depression and can also utilize aspects of behavioural activation as a qualified CBT therapist.
I have specialist training (through Respect) to work with DV 'perpetrators' and have experience of running numerous DVPP programmes.
I have a wealth of experience in working with clients suffering from both complex and acute trauma, utilizing my integrative, relational approach together with my training in trauma-focused CBT. I work sensitively with clients to help them to process the traumatic memories and to reclaim their life.
