My Approach

I work from a humanistic approach, which means I take a holistic view of my clients, considering their unique perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. I believe that we all possess an innate capacity for growth and self-development. Throughout our lives, we form ways of thinking and behaving to adapt to our environments. However, sometimes these patterns and beliefs no longer serve us and can become obstacles that hinder our progress. Reaching out to a psychotherapist can be the first step towards breaking through these barriers and unlocking your potential for personal growth.

About Me

As an experienced, integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, with a specialism in Autism, I am committed to creating a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable exploring your concerns. Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement, trauma, abuse, loss, isolation, or other challenges, I will work alongside you to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Together, we'll navigate whatever brings you to therapy, providing the support and understanding you need to move forward.

I also take private healthcare insurance referrals from companies including BUPA, AXA and Aviva.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have a special interest in working with neurodivergent adults, particularly those on the autism spectrum. I understand that adults with autism often face challenges in finding the right support tailored to their unique needs, and that there is a lack of specialized resources available. My approach is focused on helping individuals develop a deeper understanding of how their unique traits influence their experiences in forming and maintaining meaningful interpersonal relationships. I work collaboratively with clients to identify how the characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) may be impacting their day-to-day lives, and together, we explore strategies for navigating social interactions, communication, and other challenges they may face. I am passionate about offering the support that many individuals with ASD are seeking, creating a therapeutic environment where they feel accepted, understood, and empowered to embrace their authentic selves.
