My approach is for us to look at how you relate to the world and yourself. More particularly whether you may be using coping mechanisms that were more appropriate in an earlier environment, such as childhood, which may not work in the same way now leading to a variety of feelings such as anger, confusion or difficulties in relationships.
Our therapeutic relationship will be unique to you. My aim is to help you understand why you feel the way you do or why relationships may not work out as hoped for or to look at why intense feelings can be triggered by a seemingly insignificant event. Although feelings may seem incomprehensible, by working together I hope to help you understand and make sense of why you feel the way you do or why relationships are the way they are.
With that new perspective you can become more comfortable with yourself and find life more fulfilling. I aim to create a safe, comfortable and secure environment where you can be heard in complete confidence and feel supported.
Sessions are either online or face to face. I hold face to face sessions in Islington in a purpose-built suite of therapy rooms giving a calm environment just across the road from Angel station.

As a psychotherapist with twenty years’ experience I help people understand why life might be the way it is and find a better way to move forward. I see clients with feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks, relationship difficulties as well as neurodivergence such as ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia though no list can be exhaustive.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
