My Approach

I believe in the power of the relationship in the therapy room, and that we all have the capacity to change .We may all experience difficult periods in our lives, and together we can make sense of your distress.
I employ Transactional Analysis, and work across different schools and approaches within TA.

About Me

Hello and welcome to Anne Barber Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have been a teacher /examiner for over 30 years in West Sussex, and have always been fascinated and curious about human behaviour.
I currently work as a specialist counsellor/psychotherapist for University Hospitals Sussex/MacMillan in partnership with the NHS In Oncology.
I am a qualified supervisor, and alongside my teaching I decided to train as a TA Psychotherapist.
