I specialise in helping people understand what gets in the way of sustaining meaningful relationships. I work either on a 1-1 or in small, carefully composed therapy groups. I have extensive specialist training in this area, including my own psychotherapy and group analysis.
My approach is 'relational', meaning that I am very much alongside you in the therapy, working things out together. We look at the your current issues in light of your early family life, school, social situations, your race/ethicity, sexuality or anything else which might have left you with buried feelings which are affecting how you are in yourself and with others. So, if you are wondering why you are single, or want help with close friendships either at home or at work, then do get in touch for a free 1-1.
Setting up in private practice after over 20 years in the NHS where I am currently Lead for Group Psychotherapy and Senior Therapy Advisor across one of the UK’s largest mental health trusts. I also run reflective meetings for management teams.
