My Approach

Therapy with me consist of focusing on the present and how you are feeling and managing in the here and now. We will focus on you, but I also believe that people do not live in isolation, our family, friends and environment is part of our story in so many ways.

Having a space to explore all that is you, in a safe confidential way, to make sense of it all can be life changing and support you in making choices that suit you and support your own mental health in an empowering way.

About Me

Everyone goes through challenging situations in life, and while you may have successfully navigated many difficulties you’ve faced, there’s nothing wrong with seeking out extra support when you need it. Working with a therapist can help provide insight, support, and new strategies for all types of life challenges. Therapy can help address many types of issues. Therapy is right for anyone who is interested in getting more out of life by taking responsibility, creating greater self-awareness, and working towards change.
I can support you in most ways, ranging from personal development goals to mental health support for depression, anxiety and relationship difficulties to name a few.
I offer a free 20 min consultation giving us time to check suitability out without any commitments. Should I not be the right fit for your needs I might know someone who is, so if you aren’t sure book a chat and let’s find out.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Therapy for survivors of domestic abuse. This is suitable for men or women who might be wondering about the safety of their relationship or are intending to or have already left an abusive relationship. Therapy will include psycho-education around victimization and abusive patterns. Focus will include creating a support package for long-term support, including sign-posting to appropriate services.
Are you looking for a therapist as part of your own training. Students are welcome to contact for a reduced rate, while you are in training.
