Therapy provides a confidential space to resolve, change and improve problematic feelings, beliefs, behaviours, relationship issues and somatic responses (sensations in the body). I offer a place to be seen, heard and listened to. Trained as a Gestalt therapist I believe in an interpersonal therapeutic relational approach as being a catalyst for change and personal development. My style is inter-relational, and embodied. Gestalt therapy looks at the individual as a whole, focusing on the here and now.
Working together our therapeutic journey will focus not only on the content of what you talk about, but also the process of how you share your feelings and experiences. I offer a supportive environment for you to explore your feelings and learn how you can best support, solve and soothe them, through modelling a healthy and positive relationship experience and providing appropriate feedback.
I welcome people from all backgrounds and cultures and have particular interest and experience of working with arts professionals and young adults.
It may be that although there is no particular current crisis, you would like the opportunity now to know yourself better in order to identify and hopefully fulfil some as yet unknown dreams.
Beginning therapy can be a big step toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the best life possible—no matter what challenges you may be facing.
