My approach to psychotherapy is to create a safe space for the individual to allow themselves to explore their inner world, emotions and relationships. Working together, I aim to allow the individual to achieve insight often through a creative process.
People often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—from themselves, from others, or from the life they feel they should be living.
I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, identity questions, loss and major life transitions. Many of my clients are professionals, creatives, or individuals navigating cultural or personal change who feel outwardly “functional” but internally unsettled, burnt out, or unsure of their direction.
I see emotions not as problems to be fixed, but as meaningful signals. When we learn to understand our emotional responses, they can become a reliable compass—helping us make sense of our experiences, clarify what matters, and navigate life with greater confidence and authenticity.
My role is to offer a confidential, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space where we can slow things down, make sense of what is happening beneath the surface, and work towards meaningful and lasting change. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes, but about developing insight, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
I work in both English and Turkish, and I have a particular sensitivity to cultural identity, migration, and the experience of living between worlds.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
