Your membership helps fund our continuous work to raise public awareness of the importance of qualified professionals in psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic counselling.

It also allows us to build strategies to influence the government, the NHS and other key organisations to improve and increase access to psychotherapy for all, including reducing barriers to training as a psychotherapist.

Membership fees

To see our membership fees for the current year, visit our Membership fees page. Our membership year runs from 1 October to 30 September. If you join part way through the year, the fee will be pro-rated – for example, if you join in November, you pay 11/12th of the annual fee.

 

How to join

To change your membership grade please apply for a new membership grade online. To qualify, you must not have any outstanding complaints and/or sanctions.

By applying to and renewing your membership, you automatically agree to the retired membership declaration/terms and conditions.
