Policy, research and reputation: how and where should UKCP focus its resources?

Help shape the future of our external facing work by participating in this strategy development webinar. The evening will include a panel discussion followed by an opportunity for audience members to have their questions on the topic answered.

Our panellists include:

  • Professor Divine Charura, professor of counselling psychology and programme director at York St John University, and chair of UKCP’s research working group
  • Ellen Dunn, UKCP’s policy and research manager.

We will explore questions such as:

  • How important is psychotherapy research?
  • How can UKCP support members seeking to engage in research?
  • What is UKCP’s most important policy goal for members?
  • How important is our public policy work in the NHS
  • Which external audience should UKCP focus on?

This webinar is part of a series of sessions held by UKCP to gather insights from our members on shaping our new three-year strategy. Previous webinars have focused on defining the purpose of UKCP, exploring what UKCP membership means and examining the interrelation between ethics, regulation and training.
