College chair for the College for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapies (CCAP)

Would you like to contribute some of your time and experience to make a difference in the promotion of UKCP child psychotherapies?

UKCP/CCAP are recruiting for a new college chair to support the important work of the college.

This is an exciting opportunity to meaningfully contribute to upholding the emotional and psychological wellbeing of infants and parents, children and young people, and to support CCAP members. CCAP do this largely through focusing on describing and maintaining high standards for those who work with these client groups and by working with UKCP's policy and public affairs team to advocate for infants, children, young people and UKCP accredited child psychotherapies in the wider external field.

The new chair would be mentored by the outgoing chair for a period of time and work as a part of the college’s experienced Executive Committee who would also support the new chair in their role. The successful candidate would also have a full a UKCP induction.

Working within UKCP and CCAP will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable CPD, get involved, and be a part of influencing the direction and shape the future of your profession.
