About Me
I am a Systemic Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Trainer with 25+ years experience working with Individuals, couples and families. In addition to my independent practice I spent 16years working part time in NHS CAMHS.

Special Interests
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
Parents want the very best for their children and it is very distressing if a child of theirs expresses in any one of a myriad ways that they are suffering. It might be in behaviours such as anxiety, compulsivity, becoming withdrawn or anger/aggression or in relationships at home towards parents or siblings or at school with teachers and/or peers. This can manifest itself at any age. I speak with parents mainly with children ranging 5-18yrs old.
However, in recent years more parents have referred as many adult children are either continuing to live in the family home or returning to live at home post University and sometimes it can be useful to re negotiate living in the changed dynamics of an adult household.
All relationships are in perpetual motion and many find themselves at certain times appear to have changed in ways one or more feel means that relationship is not harmonious and needs to be redefined in some way. It can be useful to explore new ways forward with a third party therapeutically particularly if there is an idea that those in the relationship have different ideas about what’s happening. I create a safe space for clients to re define their relationships
