My Approach

I am a systemic psychotherapist which means I think about difficulties within the context of relationships, which may be intimate, friendships, work or other. I work with individuals, couples, families and organisations.

About Me

I am a black British cis women. I have been working with individuals, couples, families and organisations for the past twenty plus years. I am a clinical supervisor to therapists who work with individual children and adults, with couples, with families, within forensic, CAMHS, adult mental health settings and who run their own private practices.

I work with organisations facilitating away days and providing bespoke training.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Race and anti-racism are areas that we still find ourselves struggling to confront, manage, challenge with confidence. I meet many individuals, couples, families and organisations that are trying to face race and anti-racism and are getting stuck, which can lead to conversations getting shut down, people being hurt, relationships being harmed, I can help with this.
As a systemic psychotherapist I work with relationships with individuals, couples, families and organisations. This work is varied and covers many areas.
I am a systemic psychotherapist supervisor and supervise systemic therapists and therapists from other modalities who are looking for a different lens over their work, I focus in on the self of the therapist and how we at times can appear in the work helpfully and unhelpfully. Supervision for me is a holistic process, where there is space to think about your clients, and about you personally and professionally.
I have been involved in teaching and training for the past thirty years, and cover a wide range of topics. I am a course lead for two systemic courses at the Tavistock and Portman Foundation Trust where I also teach on the systemic Masters training and also on the systemic supervision training. I create training events for organisations, and teams as well as facilitate team away days.
