As an Integrative psychotherapist I draw upon several Psychotherapeutic approaches to tailor my work to suit the needs of individual clients. In working with children and young people I believe in creating a safe emotional space to explore trauma and painful experiences, whilst creating a therapeutic relationship that reflects the uniqueness of each client. My empathy and sensitivity enables clients to makes sense of, and manage, their feelings and experiences whilst using a playful and non-judgmental approach to encourage clients to be curious about their inner world. I work relationally using the mediums of play and the arts to deepen the relationship, and offer ways to explore and integrate experiences by using; sand tray, paint, clay, masks, storytelling, music and drama.
I offer short and long term child psychotherapy to meet the needs of the child and family. I also offers parents and carers a space for support and reflection, and can link in with wider networks around a child or young person.
