Perhaps you are struggling to overcome painful experiences or you simply want to understand yourself and to live more fully. Perhaps you are looking to gain insight into your past and its impact on the present or you are seeking to diminish the power of unhelpful defences and self-defeating patterns of behaviour.
Whatever the reason for coming to therapy or the difficulty you are facing, I am happy to meet you and together we can seek to understand your situation and explore ways forward.
My approach is tailored to your needs, drawing on a range of psychotherapy models to enable us to work deeply and relationally on the difficulties you face. Together we will seek to build your understanding and awareness and to shift unhelpful patterns of relating to yourself, others, to life situations and challenges.

Hello my name is Paul and I am a psychotherapist and counsellor working in London Bridge and Tunbridge Wells.
My training was at the Minster Centre in London where gained an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling. I have a wide range of life experience including many years working as a senior manager for a number of charities supporting people with health, social care and special educational needs. Alongside my private practice I have worked in University, NHS and local community counselling services.
I draw on theory from Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Relational Psychotherapy, Psychoanalysis and Existential Psychotherapy. At the heart of our work together will be the relationship we develop. I believe in the importance of kindness, compassion, empathy and deep listening to create the conditions for potential growth and transformation.
