About Me

As a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, based in West Sussex, I am an understanding listener who offers support, empathy and warmth. Together we can explore how you are living your life, your thoughts and your feelings. We can see how experiences in your past impact on your life today and how they may be influencing the way you think, how you feel and even the way you behave. Therapy can help you to develop your self-awareness and understanding of who you are in the world and in turn offer a greater range of choices in your life. I can assist you to explore your understanding of yourself and by providing a safe and confidential environment I am able to help you to enhance your sense of control and choice over your life. Having the opportunity to explore your feelings within a non-judgemental relationship will enable you to find your own resources and resilience. Whether you are struggling to come to terms with bereavement or any type of trauma, counselling can help you through the process and enable you to reflect on the past and gain confidence in the future. By using honesty, warmth and empathy I work towards enabling you to break free from seeing yourself as a victim of circumstance and help promote a greater sense of self control,choice and self-acceptance.
