About Me

Hello. I am a fully qualified psychotherapist and a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and I am committed to their ethical principles and code of professional conduct. I have over 7 years’ clinical experience and have worked with a wide range of issues and clients whilst working in the NHS and with private organisations. I have helped people to explore and address a range of emotional, psychological and behavioural issues.

I am especially interested in gender and sexuality and have worked with many clients who are exploring issues around gender or who might identify as non-binary, and/or clients who are exploring their sexuality as well as those who identify as LGBTQ+.

I have experience helping people with a range of difficulties including:
• Relationship issues
• Depression
• Anxiety
• LGBTQ+
• Anger management
• self-harm and suicidal thoughts
• personality disorders
• trauma

My particular specialism is psychoanalytic therapy over a medium to longer term for people who want to learn and understand more about themselves, whilst gaining insight into their emotional life and behaviour. I can also offer short-term therapy for those wanting to address a particular issue or problem, or would like some practical solutions.

Psychotherapy can be challenging but also rewarding and empowering, and it is important that you find a therapist that you feel comfortable working with. Bearing this in mind, feel free to contact me by telephone or email without obligation if you have any questions about the therapy. My hope is that you will find me approachable, warm and genuine.
