psychodynamic and psychoanalytic
I am trained to work with individuals, couples and families. I have worked for over 30 years in the field of mental health. I originally trained as a social worker, family therapist and counsellor before completing psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy trainings at WPF and Tavistock relationships respectively. I have worked for several years in an NHS hospital outpatients psychotherapy service where I held the position of Lead for Specialist Psychological Psychotherapies, and led the psychodynamic team and honorary psychotherapy program. I also work as a visiting lecturer and supervisor at the British Psychotherapy Foundation, Tavistock Relationships and The Tavistock Institute.
I have worked in private practice for over 15 years where I see adults, couples and supervisees. I work either on-line or in-person
My consulting room is situated in central London and is easily accessible through public transport (5 minutes from Farringdon, 10 minutes from Holborn). Car-park and metered parking is also available. I have wheelchair access.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
