About Me

I have private practice in Kingsbridge Devon where I provide both long and short term counselling and psychotherapy contracts, working with individuals and groups; I also provide consultancy, supervision and coaching.
I specialise in the treatment of Trauma using an Integrative, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Body Focused approach, Tamalpa Movement and Expressive Life/Art Process, Brainspotting and Breath~body~mind training.

I commenced my psychotherapy and counselling career in 1997 and have worked within a variety of settings; alcohol & addictions psychotherapist, college counsellor, private practice, organisational workplace counselling, G.P liaison counsellor, youth counsellor and personal development group facilitator and group analyst. I have been the clinical supervisor and training development officer for City and Hackney Alcohol Service, as well as the clinical manager of an abstinence day programme and a 12 step programme.
I also work as a free lance consultant and trainer for various organisations.
I am a college lecturer, tutor, trainer and clinical supervisor for counselling and psychotherapy students at various colleges and institutes in London and throughout the UK, including Metanoia Institute and Matrix College, previously also Regents College and Holloway University. I am currently supervisor & tutor at the Minster Centre.
A CPD specialist lecturer and workshop facilitator, previously a member of the examination board for Integrative MSc Viva’s at Metanoia Institute, part of the assessment team and trainer for the MSc Integrative Programme and MA Life Coaching Programme. I was the clinical supervisor for BUPA Psychological Services and for the Post Adoption Centre. I am a UKCP accredited Supervisor and Metanoia Primary supervisor. I co-facilitate Trainings for Coaches using a body focused/informed approach to Coaching called ‘ Coaching with the Body in Mind’.
I am a qualified Tamalpa Movement & expressive arts therapist & practitioner and clinical director of Tamalpa-UK.
