My Approach

I have over 10 years of Psychotherapeutic experience as in Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist.

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Adult Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling from the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education, London (5 year training). Accredited with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I abide by the UKCP code of ethics, which includes undertaking regular clinical supervision and further professional development.  I hold full Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Before training in Psychotherapy I was a Trainer and Coach for over 20 years and trained in Mindfulness, Mentoring, Coaching, Compassion Focused Therapy and Group Therapy. I have worked in both the Higher and Further education sector as a coach and mentor with young people.

I have undertaken a course in Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Compassion Focused Therapy and work with a variety of EAP's to deliver work place counselling in group and one to one. I specialise in helping return to work with anxiety and depression.

About Me

I am an accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor with over 13 years of experience. My practice is called Grow Your Own Potential, because I believe we all have an amazing ability to learn, grow and become who we were truly meant to be. We just need to plant the seed of change, to see what is possible in our lives.

Psychotherapy can provide you with a place to open up, manage and process difficult feelings, give you time to grieve for past or current losses. It can provide tools to help you feel more centred, calm and peaceful.

I offer support with; depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-defeating beliefs, eating issues, bereavement, relationship/family issues, or anything else which may be causing you concern and holding you back in your life.

Our work together would help you see the recurring patterns in your life, allowing you to make significant and lasting changes. I will help you to feel your feelings and come to a deeper understanding of who you are, with an increased compassion for your whole-self and what makes you unique.

Please visit my website for more information on how I work, for my blog and free online resources such as meditations and podcasts. The link is at the bottom of page.

I am Neurodiverse informed and can support you to explore your ADHD, helping you to find new life strategies.
Anxiety is something I specialise in helping many of my clients with, I use mindfulness techniques and Compassion Focused Therapy to give my clients practical techniques to help them.
