Reach out to me to schedule a free consultation and start your journey towards healing and self-discovery. You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone; I'm here to help you thrive.

About Me

Hello, I am Carleen. I am here to support you on your journey towards healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. As a UKCP Accredited, Clinical Integrative Psychotherapist, I bring a wealth of experience, warmth, and engagement to our therapeutic relationship. My mission is to create a safe and welcoming space where we can explore your unique experiences and emotions, helping you to navigate life's challenges with resilience and clarity.

Education and Expertise

My commitment to providing the highest level of care led me to complete an MA in Psychosocial Studies at Birkbeck University in London in 2023. Alongside distinction-level MSc training in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and extensive experience in various relational modalities, I have the knowledge and skills to tailor our sessions to meet your specific needs. I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and I draw from various therapeutic approaches to create a personalised treatment plan for you.

Embracing Diversity and Inclusivity

I recognise that each individual's experiences are shaped by their unique intersectional background, and I am sensitive to the unique challenges that may arise for you. My own diverse background and ongoing commitment to cultural competence ensures that you will be met with respect, empathy, and understanding during our sessions.

Artistic Expression

In addition to my work as a Psychotherapist, I'm deeply passionate about creative expression. I recently curated an exhibition at the prestigious New Art Exchange, Nottingham, where I shared my personal experiences of internalised racism through art. This creative outlet allows me to explore and understand the complexities of the human experience, which I can bring into my therapeutic practice.
